Afterschool Assistant
On behalf of Cool Kidz Out of School, based on Finaghy Road North we are seeking to recruit an After School Assistant on permanent basis.
Work Time: Monday to Friday, 22.5 hours per week
Salary:
18-20: £7.49
21-24: £10.18
25+: £10.42
Roles and Responsibilities
- Assisting the manager with the day to day running of setting
- School collections
- Planning activities i.e arts and crafts and energetic games
- Homework assistance
- Daily cleans of the setting
Essential Criteria
- Aged 18 and over
- Minimum Level 2 Childcare or Playwork
- Experience working in a similar role
- First Aid, Child Protection and Food Safety
- Good punctuality and absence record
- Good communication skills with children and adults alike
- Enthusiasm and passion for childcare
- Self-motivated and ability to work on own initiative
Desirable Criteria
- Level 2 Childcare or Playwork
- 2yrs experience working in a similar role
- Driving licence and access to a car (not essential)
