Delivering Social Change Through Childcare

Delivering Social Change Through Childcare is the Executive’s draft ten year Childcare Strategy. The document outlines 22 interventions which will address the problems associated with childcare provision in Northern Ireland.

The strategy has two aims, to support the developmental needs of children and to support working parents. In our response we ask for targeted investment at areas of real need, in particular the problem of childcare affordability. We also ask for a commitment to ensure that all parents are aware of the support available to them with the cost of childcare.
