What happens after I have a successful interview?

STEP 1
Online Access NI to be completed and returned to HR

HR will send the Access NI application form once all the training documentation stated has been received. Please refer to the Access NI website for more details and timescales.

STEP 2
Access NI certificate is received by Employers For Childcare

STEP 3
Health Trust Application sent

We will send this within 24 hours of receiving the Access NI certificate. Assessment of the application will vary between individual Trust areas, HR will advise you on approximate timescales.

STEP 4
Health Trust Approval granted

The relevant Trust has carried out all the necessary checks and you are now approved to work as a peripatetic childcarer, allowing you to work in a variety of childcare settings.

STEP 5
Induction

You will be invited to our office to be given an induction which will cover policies, procedures and provides you with an opportunity to ask any further questions. It will also enable you to meet the team and give you a feel for what it is like to be a member of the Childcare Team.
